THE LISMORE
The Lismore required a contemporary update that involved removing the aging brick, replacing insulation, and stuccoing the surface. The design was considered along with the structural requirements. Additionally, we renovated and remodeled some of the suites with new flooring.
The brick was removed from the exterior to alleviate additional weight on the foundation. This was done by cutting and chipping the brick away. A gold waterproof coating was applied to the base before installing styrofoam insulation. A cement-based adhesive was then used with fibre mesh before acrylic stucco was applied to the exterior surfaces.
Updating a property requires it to retain an aesthetic that is suitable for the neighborhood. The before-and-after of the Lismore speaks to its visual transformation.
